I wrote this song after a show. It's about how I spend every waking moment wondering if I've spent the past eight years sabotaging the rest of my life.
lyrics
I've got nothing to show, but an arrogant front, for the twenty one years I've spent realizing that I'm not even comfortable in my own skin. Save my spirit please, or put it out of its misery.
I've got nothing to prove short of everything I still need to prove to myself. No, I don't need or want your help, just don't stand in my way. Put ink to the page as I spill my guts. I try to break free, but I'm stuck in a rut.
Give me something to believe in because I'm really sick and tired of trying to convince myself I can make it on my own.
Save my spirit please, or put it out of its misery.
